Visita dedicada a los templos románicos de la Seo de Urgel, Catedral de Santa María, Claustro, e Iglesia de San Miguel. Con un recorrido por la parte vieja de la ciudad.  

Encontraras las siguientes visitas:

  • La Catedral de Santa María.- Esta maravilla del estilo lombardo fue construida en 1175, y es la cuarta y última catedral que se construye en La Seo de Urgel, iniciada por el obispo San Ot, consta de tres naves, transepto y triple cabecera, de los tres solo se percibe en el exterior el central. Dispone de planta de cruz latina con tres naves, siendo la central más alta y ancha y con cuatro tramos. El transepto muy alargado donde se alojan el ábside central y los cuatro absidiolos laterales, dos a cada lado, que como hemos apreciado en el exterior estos son de testero recto.
  • El claustro fue añadido a principios en el S. XIII, de forma cuadrangular irregular y adosado al lateral epistolar del templo, está rodeado por 51 capiteles esculpidos, todos distintos.
  • Museo Diocesano.- Ubicado en la antigua casa del Decanato y en la Capilla de la Piedad, templo del S. XVI. El museo consta de cuatro espacios. El museo contiene piezas procedentes de la catedral y de las diferentes parroquias del obispado, desde la época románica hasta el S. XX.   
  • San Miguel es una iglesia documentada desde el S. X, bajo la advocación de San Pedro, situada en el conjunto catedralicio. El transepto y la triple cabecera son originales románicos. Está orientada a levante como la Catedral.
  • Palacio Episcopal.- Es un edificio antiguo en sus orígenes del S. XV y que fue reconstruido en la segunda mitad del S. XIX.
  • Casco Viejo.- Recorremos la calle de los Canónigos y la calle Mayor que son las más representativas de la localidad donde se conservan los callejones, soportales, placitas y los edificios más antiguos. El centro histórico de La Seo de Urgel corresponde a la antigua ciudad amurallada.
  • Y la Iglesia de Santo Domingo (Domenéc) Esta es la iglesia del convento de los Dominicos. Hay día esta desacralizada y es un espacio multicultural. Posee una sola nave con una cabecera de planta poligonal.

You will find the following visits:

  • The Cathedral of Santa María.- This marvel of the Lombard style was built in 1175, and is the fourth and last cathedral to be built in La Seo de Urgel, started by Bishop San Ot, consists of three naves, transept and triple apse, of the three only the central one can be seen on the outside. It has a Latin cross plan with three naves, the central one being higher and wider and with four sections. The very elongated transept where the central apse and the four lateral apsidioles are housed, two on each side, which as we have seen on the outside these have a straight head.
  • The cloister was added at the beginning of the 13th century, with an irregular quadrangular shape and attached to the epistolary side of the temple, it is surrounded by 51 sculpted capitals, all different.
  • Diocesan Museum.- Located in the old Deanery house and in the Chapel of La Piedad, a 16th century temple. The museum consists of four spaces. The museum contains pieces from the cathedral and the different parishes of the bishopric, from the Romanesque period to the 20th century.
  • San Miguel is a church documented from the 10th century, under the patronage of Saint Peter, located in the cathedral complex. The transept and the triple apse are original Romanesque. It is oriented to the east like the Cathedral.
  • Episcopal Palace.- It is an old building originally from the 15th century and was rebuilt in the second half of the 19th century. • Old Town.- We walk along Calle de los Canónigos and Calle Mayor, which are the most representative of the town, where the alleys, arcades, small squares and the oldest buildings are preserved. The historic centre of La Seo de Urgel corresponds to the old walled city.
  • And the Church of Santo Domingo (Domenéc) This is the church of the Dominican convent. Today it is deconsecrated and is a multicultural space. It has a single nave with a polygonal head.

  • La Cathédrale de Santa María.- Cette merveille du style lombard a été construite en 1175 et est la quatrième et dernière cathédrale construite à La Seo de Urgel, commencée par l’évêque San Ot, elle se compose de trois nefs, d’un transept et une triple tête, des trois seule la centrale est perçue à l’extérieur. Elle présente un plan en croix latine à trois nefs, la centrale étant la plus haute et la plus large et à quatre travées. Le transept très allongé où se logent l’abside centrale et les quatre absides latérales, deux de chaque côté, qui, comme on l’a vu à l’extérieur, ont une tête droite.
  • Le cloître fut ajouté au début du XIIIe siècle, de forme quadrangulaire irrégulière et accolé au côté épistolaire du temple, il est entouré de 51 chapiteaux sculptés, tous différents.
  • Musée diocésain.- Situé dans l’ancien doyenné et dans la chapelle de La Piedad, un temple du XVIe siècle. Le musée se compose de quatre espaces. Le musée rassemble des pièces de la cathédrale et des différentes paroisses de l’évêché, de l’époque romane au XXe siècle.
  • San Miguel est une église documentée depuis le Xe siècle, dédiée à San Pedro, située dans le complexe de la cathédrale. Le transept et le triple chœur sont d’origine romane. Elle est orientée vers l’est comme la Cathédrale.
  • Palais Épiscopal.- C’est un ancien bâtiment qui remonte au XVe siècle et qui a été reconstruit dans la seconde moitié du XIXe siècle.
  • Vieille Ville.- Nous parcourons la Calle de los Canónigos et la Calle Mayor, qui sont les plus représentatives de la ville, où sont préservées les ruelles, les arcades, les petites places et les bâtiments les plus anciens. Le centre historique de La Seo de Urgel correspond à la vieille ville fortifiée.
  • Et l’église de Santo Domingo (Domenéc) C’est l’église du couvent des Dominicains. Certains jours, c’est désacralisé et c’est un espace multiculturel. Elle possède une seule nef avec un chevet polygonal.

Folgende Besichtigungen finden Sie vor:

  • Die Kathedrale Santa María. – Dieses Wunderwerk im lombardischen Stil wurde 1175 erbaut und ist die vierte und letzte Kathedrale, die in La Seo de Urgel erbaut wurde. Sie wurde von Bischof San Ot begonnen und besteht aus drei Schiffen, einem Querschiff und ein dreifacher Kopf, von den dreien ist nur der mittlere äußerlich wahrnehmbar. Sie hat den Grundriss eines lateinischen Kreuzes mit drei Schiffen, wobei das mittlere das höchste und breiteste ist und vier Abschnitte aufweist. Das sehr langgestreckte Querschiff, in dem sich die zentrale Apsis und die vier seitlichen Apsiden befinden, zwei auf jeder Seite, die, wie wir von außen gesehen haben, einen geraden Kopf haben.
  • Der Kreuzgang wurde zu Beginn des 13. Jahrhunderts hinzugefügt, hat eine unregelmäßige viereckige Form und ist an der Briefseite des Tempels angebracht. Er ist von 51 geschnitzten Kapitellen umgeben, die alle unterschiedlich sind.
  • Diözesanmuseum. – Befindet sich im alten Dekanatshaus und in der Kapelle La Piedad, einem Tempel aus dem 16. Jahrhundert. Das Museum besteht aus vier Räumen. Das Museum enthält Stücke aus der Kathedrale und den verschiedenen Pfarreien des Bistums, von der Romanik bis zum 20. Jahrhundert.
  • San Miguel ist eine seit dem 10. Jahrhundert dokumentierte Kirche, die San Pedro gewidmet ist und sich im Kathedralenkomplex befindet. Das Querschiff und der Dreichor sind ursprünglich romanisch. Es ist wie die Kathedrale nach Osten ausgerichtet.
  • Bischofspalast: Es handelt sich um ein altes Gebäude aus dem 15. Jahrhundert, das in der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts umgebaut wurde.
  • Altstadt.- Wir gehen entlang der Calle de los Canónigos und der Calle Mayor, die die repräsentativsten der Stadt sind, wo die Gassen, Arkaden, kleinen Plätze und die ältesten Gebäude erhalten geblieben sind. Das historische Zentrum von La Seo de Urgel entspricht der alten Stadtmauer.
  • Und die Kirche Santo Domingo (Domenéc). Dies ist die Kirche des Dominikanerklosters. An manchen Tagen ist es desakralisiert und ein multikultureller Raum. Es besteht aus einem einzigen Kirchenschiff mit einem polygonalen Kopfteil.
